Day 47 of 60 · Living it out

The Foremost Of Sinners

Open your Bible and read Acts 9:1-22

“The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost.”

1 Timothy 1:15 · ESV

Maybe there is a thing in your past you have decided is too much. You believe He forgave the rest, but not that. You keep it in a locked room and you serve Him with a limp.

Then read about Saul. He hunted Christians down. He held the coats while they stoned Stephen to death. He dragged people out of their homes and into prison for the name of Jesus. He called himself the foremost of sinners and he was not exaggerating.

Jesus met him on a road, and that man wrote most of the New Testament.

At the cross Jesus wrote a blank check. Not a limited one with your worst day excluded. All of it. So stop offering Him the dirty rags of your own self righteousness and take the love and approval He already paid for. If grace reached Saul, it has already reached you!

Do this today

Say the worst thing you have done out loud to Him, then say: that was on the blank check, it is paid.

Say this out loud

“If grace could reach Saul, it reaches me. The blood covered everything, including that.”
