Open your Bible and read Acts 9:1-22

1 Timothy 1:15 · ESVThis week is for whatever is actually standing between you and the door. Start with the most common one. I have done too much.
So consider Saul. He did not merely disapprove of Christians, he hunted them. He dragged people out of their homes, men and women both, and had them jailed. He stood there approving while a man named Stephen was stoned to death. Families were destroyed because of him.
Jesus met him on the road, and that man became Paul, who wrote a third of the New Testament. Read what he called himself years later. Not a reformed man with a colorful past. The foremost of sinners, present tense, and he still knew he was completely forgiven.
If there is a line past which somebody is unreachable, Saul was miles beyond it. Whatever you have done, do you really think you have outrun that?
