Open your Bible and read Psalm 105:1-5
“Seek the LORD and his strength; seek his presence continually!”
Psalm 105:4 · ESVNobody else can do this part for you. A preacher can point you toward Him. A friend can pray with you. But no one can seek Him on your behalf, and no one can hand you their intimacy with God. It is yours to go and get.
Jesus is standing at the door of your heart, knocking. He will not kick it in. He waits to be welcomed, and He has been patient with you for years already. So open it wider today. Seek His presence continually, which means it becomes the pattern of your life and not an emergency measure when things fall apart.
This is the difference between people who know about God and people who know God. It is not talent and it is not personality. It is hunger, and hunger is something you can choose.
What are you actually hungry for?
Do this today
Pick a specific time for tomorrow morning to meet with God and set an alarm for it now.
Say this out loud
“I will seek His presence continually. I am hungry for God and He rewards those who seek Him.”
