Open your Bible and read John 14:15-27
“And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever,”
John 14:16 · ESVThe Holy Spirit is not electricity. He is not an atmosphere or a vague spiritual energy. He is a Person, and He lives in you.
Jesus called Him another Helper, which means one of the same kind. Everything Jesus was to His disciples while He walked with them, the Spirit now is to you. Comforter. Teacher. Friend who never leaves the room.
You can talk to Him. You can thank Him. You can grieve Him, which is something you can only do to a person, not a force. This changes how you go through a day. You are never actually alone in a car, a hospital hallway, a job interview or a hard conversation. He is right there and He is aware.
Say good morning to Him tomorrow before you say it to anyone else.

Speak directly to the Holy Spirit today, by name, and thank Him for living in you.
Say this out loud
“The Holy Spirit lives in me. He is my Helper and my Friend, and He will never leave me.”
