Open your Bible and read 2 Timothy 1:3-14
“for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”
2 Timothy 1:7 · ESVFear has a way of dressing up as wisdom. It tells you to wait, to stay quiet, to not be weird, to think about it a while longer. And a year goes by.
Track where the fear came from, because God did not hand it to you. What He gave you is power, love and a sound mind. That is His deposit in you and it is already there, not waiting on a future upgrade.
Proverbs says the righteous are bold as a lion. Read that carefully. Boldness is not a personality type and it is not something loud people get more of. It is what comes out of a person who knows they are righteous. You stop scanning the room for approval when the approval is already settled.
You are righteous. So walk in that today. Say the thing. Make the call. Boldness grows the second time faster than the first.
Do this today
Name your fear out loud, then declare over yourself that the righteous are bold as a lion.
Say this out loud
“God did not give me a spirit of fear. I am righteous, and the righteous are bold as a lion.”
