Find A Church And Stay

Open your Bible and read Hebrews 10:19-25

“not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”

Hebrews 10:25 · ESV

You need a church. Not a livestream you half watch while making breakfast. A room, with people in it, who will know if you go missing.

What are you looking for? Bibles actually open. Jesus at the center of everything, not a side mention. The Holy Spirit welcome to move. People who clearly love each other. Leaders you could reach if you needed to. That is the list.

What you will not find is a perfect one, because they are all full of people like you and me. Do not go church shopping for flaws. Go looking for a family you can give yourself to.

Then give it more than one Sunday. Go three or four times before you decide anything. Sit near the front. Learn a few names. You are not a spectator here, you are a member of the body, and the body is missing something when you are not there.

Do this today

Pick a church, put next Sunday in your calendar, and tell one person you are going.

Say this out loud

“I will not neglect meeting together. I need them and they need me.”
