Open your Bible and read Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil.”
Ecclesiastes 4:9 · ESVPull one coal out of a fire and set it on the hearth by itself. It still glows for a while. Give it twenty minutes and it is cold and grey. Nothing happened to it. It just got alone.
The enemy is not creative, he is consistent. He isolates first. Get you convinced that nobody would understand, that everybody else has it together, that your mess would embarrass them. Then he works on you privately where there is no one to say that is a lie.
Maybe church people have hurt you before. That is real and it is not nothing. But the answer to a bad experience with people is not zero people. It is the right people.
Start smaller than you think. One believer, one honest sentence about how you actually are. That is where it begins.
